17-4 stainless steel develops its strength and hardness through heat treating. This makes it well suited to applications that require ease of fabrication and then the addition of strength/hardness for improved reliability. 17-4 stainless steels provide an outstanding combination of high strength and good corrosion resistance characteristics. 17-4 stainless steels provide toughness in both base metals and welds.
General metalworking
All of our 17-4 stainless steel is ordered to specific decimal thicknesses. XAJT supplies 17-4 stainless steel sheet in the listed thicknesses.
We supply 17-4PH stainless steel to a standard width of 36" wide in lengths of 96" and 120", but are capable of shearing to your required lengths and widths.
XAJT 17-4 stainless steel is supplied to AMS 5604.
